BREAKFAST INSOMNIA

issue #1 review taken from RTC #2: The inspiration comes from the fatalism of Asiong Salonga and the notorious and critical streets of Moriones, Tondo. The fortune of holding the craziness of Senator Miriam Defensor. Elevated from the wonders of offense strategy of the legendary coach Sonny Jaworski...the writings in here are eloquent collection of sentiments from the mind of Archi.

issue #2 review taken from RTC #3: The long awaited second installment of this urban personal zine. Continuing on the cut and paste mayhem with all the typewritten texts. Confusing us on the backward order of pages. Once again the eloquent writing is there. Grasping the wit of Nora Aunor. Attracted by the handsome faces of Korean actors. A wide range of words used in paragraph to show he has a good vocabulary. The anger comes from the passive existence of the general Filipino public with their lives cycled around telenovelas, chismis, pseudo-anarchism. Dark, gloomy and sadness filled the whole air of this zine. It promotes finding our own morality. To make an apparition. If you are political then read this and you will realize in the end you are not. You’re just rebelling against your parents. By the third issue it will promote to burn the filthy streets of Metro Manila till the break of dawn just for fun. There will be no manifesto from that action it will all be spontaneous. Showing his disgust that life is really hard and there is no hope. This issue ended with lengthy thank you list of friends that I think inspire him to do this and music that agitated him.
