VINYL RULES IT'S TIME FOR ME TO COLLECT

First I want you all to know this is still JCS-ONE posting in here don't be confuse on the name listed in my profile okay. For the real business I am happy I've just bought yesterday a second hand ION TTUSB10 turntable from a cool guy. The price of this is reasonable. It's not that fancy but it gives good sound quality. Not unlike the old turntable I've bought which is really bad. Now I am on for vinyl collecting. My own rule for this acquisition (as I REMEMBER HALLOWEEN have said) is to collect all vinyls with no limitations to genre as long as I like the music and that's it. Now I can post my minimal 7" collection in here. I don't know about my 12"s I am having a doubt to post it in here. It's embarrassing if you ask me.

I have a minimal posts last month. Bummer. I have a couple of books I am reading right now and I want to finish it before posting it in here. I've been gathering and layouting stuffs for Real Tight Crew #4. These are the stuffs that occupies my time so posting on this blog kinda got left behind. And you know what I've been listening a lot to a downloaded album of Paramore "Brand New Eyes". Fucked up you say? I don't care I like their music. And they have beautiful vocalist which really sings well and have a lovely voice. I also believe every hardcore punk kid has a pop sensibilities on them besides the noises we listen to a lot. The hard part maybe is to admit it.

BLOOD FOR BLOOD "Wasted Youth Brew"

Thanks to Dha for giving this cool tape from Blood For Blood. I have also tapes from Victory Records which I bought in a record bar in Landmark for only twenty pesos. Next time I'll post the tape of Integrity in here. Well, Wasted Youth Brew is a compilation album from various compilations, demos and a live recording. To my surprise their album Outlaw Anthems got a review in MRR. 

PIRATE DVD: THE TOWN

The Town is the second directorial role of Ben Affleck after his Gone Baby Gone. He is also one of the main character in here. The setting is in Boston specifically in Charlestown who produces bank robbers like a trade. It is passed father to son. I like the Irish accent they're imitating in here. It shows that Boston has a tough neighborhood. Jeremy Renner who I first watched in Hurtlocker also stars in here of course he is not a disappointment. The drama in here is all good besides the action scene. If you want to be an organized bank robber this could be a good source.
  

2010 IS OUT WELCOME 2011

JCS ONE in da house. Welcome now to 2011. To be honest I don't have a bad time for 2010 all positive stuffs happened to me and the whole Sobrepeña clan here in Caloocan City. I know it's kinda overwhelming to say that but I don't remember any negative thing happened to us and I think it's good to outweigh that. Hopefully this 2011 will also be good to us. I am also celebrating this new year stuff inside the house and our neighbors is starting to drink beer while playing bingo and blasting out their novelty music. I just want to stay sober so no big deal. Happy new year to all of you and have a good one, aight! If all goes well I will be starting the year 2011 by releasing the fourth issue of Real Tight Crew, hopefully.
